The Art of the Arsenal

In GTA 6, your weapons are an extension of your identity. The game’s Advanced Weapon Workshop introduces a full material-and-tint system that goes far deeper than any previous GTA title.

Understanding the Tint System

There are 6 tint layers per weapon:

  1. Base Metal — The underlying receiver finish
  2. Secondary — Grip panels and furniture
  3. Hardware — Screws, pins, and small parts
  4. Barrel — Independent barrel coating
  5. Optics — Scope/sight tint
  6. Attachments — Mags, stocks, suppressors

Each layer can be individually set. This is where most players leave money on the table — they set one colour and call it done.
